A Message from the Athletic Director

LCMS Athletic Director:  Keith Wright

Greetings Blue Devil Family! In my first year as Athletic Director/Assistant Principal I look forward to the opportunity to contribute and improve upon our rich tradition of athletics at Langston Chapel Middle School.

At Langston Chapel Middle School, we offer a wide variety of extracurricular athletic activities and our coaches and staff are committed to developing a well-adjusted,well-rounded student athlete and citizen. I feel the rewards of athletic participation are immediate and enduring for Langston Chapel Middle School student-athletes. While students are involved in our programs, we will assist them in learning valuable lessons through sports to grow not only in the game, but in life. In addition, we want all our student-athletes to understand that Athletic participation is a privilege and not a right.

At LCMS we strive to be part of a team comprised of family members, educators, and community partners to assist our young people in achieving their goals while growing into happy, healthy, and productive young adults. Additionally, we plan to work hard, play hard, and have fun while coming together to reach our full potential as a team, compete, and represent our family in high character!

Blue Devil pride continues to play a pivotal role in providing unrelenting support, energy, and enthusiasm for our athletes and coaches. The conduct of our coaches, athletes, and spectators in regard to sportsmanship and fair play are expectations that we expect to be exemplary, so we ask for your continued support of high standards/morals as you interact with opposing teams, coaches, fans, and contest officials.  We wish to thank our supporters for all they do for the Langston Chapel Middle School community.
